The Urban Assembly and SEL4US are holding a Social and Emotional Learning Day on March 27 to promote the importance of SEL for all children.

There has been a lot of research on the benefits of SEL, and it is overwhelmingly positive. HITN supports the teaching of SEL in schools. Here is why:

  • SEL helps improve student behavior
  • SEL helps improve students’ social-emotional skills
  • SEL helps students develop feelings of well-being
  • SEL is responsible for improved academic outcomes.

To support SEL Day, HITN has gathered together many of our SEL resources in one place for you. Please take a look at the articles here.
